The challenge
GPS tracking in Peru has to work with intermittent connectivity on low-end phones. The existing options drained batteries, dropped positions and offered no dependable emergency channel.
The solution
We rebuilt the apps in Kotlin Multiplatform, sharing the tracking logic across iOS and Android while keeping each interface native. We added an offline outbox, sensor-fusion crash detection and an emergency channel with a voice call.
